The Art and Science of Usability Engineering, based on user behaviors and responses, are taken very seriously at ITCS.
Functions ITCS performs to ensure the usability of finished products:
  • Conduct customer usability meetings, presenting wire frames and prototypes of system(s) in development
  • Document usability goals and project standards
  • Define user requirements, preferences, and behaviors through qualitative research and analysis
  • Perform usability reviews, verifying deliverables against design requirements and validating against the user’s intended purpose for the design
  • Perform code reviews ensuring deliverables satisfy required Section 508 standards and W3C guidelines
User-Centric Design
A user-centric design philosophy is an approach employed by ITCS within the entire SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), ensuring user involvement throughout all stages from requirements development to acceptance testing, addressing the needs, wants, and limitations of the end users.
